An unforgettable journey into the heart of Costa Rica’s turquoise treasure.

We will depart from La Fortuna at 7:30 AM to begin one of the most captivating adventures in the region.

☕ Please note: Breakfast is not included.

After a scenic 1.5-hour drive to the village of Guatuso, we will reach the trailhead by 9:00 AM and start a 1.5-mile hike into the lush rainforest leading to the magical waters of Río Celeste.

Río Celeste is formed where two pristine brooks meet, creating a unique chemical reaction that gives the river its astonishing turquoise color. Along the trail, we will visit:

• Los Teñideros – where the river gets its color

• The iconic turquoise waterfall

• A stunning natural swimming hole

• A serene hot spring area (use depends on weather conditions)

✨ One of the main highlights of this tour is soaking in the magically colored jungle brook — an unforgettable experience.

At the end of the hike, a delicious lunch will be served at the trailhead. After freshening up, we will return to La Fortuna by 4:00 PM.
